As part of Egy Cash’s ongoing drive to keep pace with the latest international systems, its internal and documentation procedures were reviewed and its management staff were assessed on the objectives and strategies of the quality management system.
Following inspection and auditing by Team Quality, a specialist management-system certification body, registered with the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS),
Egy Cash was awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certificates.
The Certificates Awarded to Egy Cash
These certificates are a significant achievement, as they show that Egy Cash has implemented quality improvement and information security practices and procedures in line with international standards.
ISO 9001 certification:
This covers the quality management system and requires the company to:
adhere to quality standards and improve them continually. It aims to increase customer satisfaction and make the company more effective at meeting customer needs.
ISO 27001 certification
This covers the information security management system and requires the company to comply with cyber security standards, protect its information and safeguard its confidentiality.
It aims to protect the company against cyber attacks and improve the security of critical information.
By achieving these certificates, Egy Cash can strengthen customer confidence in its services and enhance its reputation in the market. They also demonstrate the company’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and security in every respect.
Presenting the Quality Certificates to Egy Cash
Egy Cash held a ceremony to present the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certificates it had received from Team Quality
The certificates were presented by:
Dr Karim Khater, Chief Executive of Team Quality,
and Dr Ezzat Nabih Amin, Managing Director of Team Quality,
to Major General Hany Omar, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank for the Security Sector and Chairman of the Board,
and Major General Gamal Abu Ismail, General Manager of Egy Cash.
The ceremony was attended by all members of the Board of Directors and the company’s senior managers,
including Mr Mohamed Amer, Assistant Deputy Governor for the Banking Operations Sector,
Mr Hossam El-Hegaz, Head of the Administrative Support Group at the National Bank of Egypt,
and Mrs Amany Shams El-Din, First Deputy Governor for the Banking Operations Sector.
The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate this important achievement and to thank the staff who worked hard to earn these certificates.

The General Manager of Egy Cash for Cash Transaction Technology Solutions highlighted the importance of applying international quality standards and their role in organising and securing the company’s work.
The certificates confirm the success of the company, its operations and its services, reflecting its success both now and in the future.
This development is in line with the quality policies of the Central Bank of Egypt, which in turn help to achieve the goals of financial inclusion, development and the spread of financial literacy.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to raise awareness among staff, partners and customers of the importance of quality and security in Egy Cash’s work.
It also served to motivate employees to keep working hard and achieve even more in the future.
Team Quality: ISO Auditing and Certification
Team Quality awards ISO certificates following a clear audit process and an agreed timetable, with the highest standards of auditing and follow-up, and carries out annual surveillance audits. It is accredited locally by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) and internationally by the International Accreditation Service (IAS), and it has firmly proven its strength in the local and international markets, with some of the strongest brands in its portfolio. It was also the first to award quality certificates to Egyptian military institutions after audits.
